Case Study:

There was a man Named John Black. He was a Marine, and he loved his job. He was Married to his wife Fran and had a daughter named Connie, He house were his wife and child lived was in Arizona, but he was usually working in the Marines.
One day, Him and his friend came home for a month. It was there first night back so they went home and saw there Families, the next day both of there families had a BBQ. They were all having a good time didn't expect anything to happen witch didn't till about three weeks later.
John was getting ready to go back to the Marines. For the first time in a long time he felt like he had to through up, and it was rare for him to do that, he also felt very light headed and thought maybe its was just the thought of going and leaving his family for a period of time again. but the he realized all diffrent types of symptoms and didn't no what was going on.
The Next day before he left to go back to the Marines, he went to see his family doctor. He told the Doctor all the symptoms he was having, and the doctor told him Those were symptoms of Hepatitis A. so the Doctor ran a few tests on him to see if he had Hepatitis A. Indeed he did. He isn't quit sure how he got it.
That day he went home, and his buddy from the Marines called him and told him he was feeling sick, so John asked him what symptoms did he have, the friend told him and he realized how he might of got it.
John took his friend to the doctors and he got checked for hepatitis A too, and he also had early symptoms of hepatitis. But they both didn't understand how they got it, or why the got it. So they asked the doctors of different ways you could easily get the symptoms.
The doctor told them you can get it from a sexual partner, or form eating food that someone else has eaten or drinking of someone else too. the John and his friend Bobby realized that they probably got it from each-other, by eating off one another, or even drinking the same beer.
They got the vaccine and was cured. Now there hepatitis free and they can move on with there lifes.

Facts on Hepatitis A.

  • Hepatitis A can cause swelling and inflammation in the liver, it doesn't lead to chronic, or lifelong disease.
  • Almost everyone who gets hepatitis A has a full recovery caused my eating food and drinking water infected with a virus called HAV.
  • Hepatitis can also be caused by a sexual transmitted disease or intercourse with your sexual partner.
  • Hepatitis was identified in 1963 and labeled Hepatitis A. 
  • Hepatitis A has a worldwide distribution occurring in both epidemic and sporadic fashion. About 22,700 cases of hepatitis A representing 38% of all hepatitis Cases.
  • Hepatitis A Symptoms : 
  1. Dark Urine
  2. Fatigue
  3. itching
  4. loss of appetitie
  5. low grade fever
  6. mausea 
  7. vomiting
  8. yellow skin 
  • Symptoms will usually show up 2-6 weeks after being exposed to hepatitis A virus. they are usually mild, but may last for up to several months, especially in adults.
  • Hepatitis A is related to also Hepatitis B and C . they all have the symptoms of swelling and inflammation to the liver.
  • There is a vaccine to treat the disease . the vaccine is given by an injection unto the muscle of the upper arm for adults and older children and in the thigh muscle for toddlers.
  • Hepatitis A vaccine is an inactivated virus vaccine. no part of this vaccine is "live".
  • Estimates for long-term prtection for fully baccinated people suggest that protection from hepatitis. 
  • experts continue to study the long-term effectiveness of this vaccine to determine weather a booster dose will be needed.
